Aquila Fashions’ manufacturing capacity yields a vast permutation of variety. This feature page highlights some aspects of belts design such as colour and shape of buckle, colour and type of leather, age and status-appropriateness etc. Before getting lost in the variety, bear in mind AF’s only choice in belts making – full-grain leather.
Our belts are categorized into four models. When browsing our belts, you might like to refer to the following:
Premium:
Standard model of all our belts
Both surfaces of the belt are made of the epidermis, ie the outermost layer, of the cow-hide. Compared to the roughback, essentially two times of the material is used
Roughback:
Budget version of all our belts
Only the top surface of the belt is made of the epidermis of the cow-hide
Stitchless:
A single unaltered strap cut form the original cow-hide
916 gold buckles; buckle you can’t bear to throw away after the strap wears out
Featured below is a customer’s 916 gold buckle affixed with Aquila Fashions’ premium full-grain leather belt strap.
The gold buckle’s shape has changed, but it remains untarnished. When necessary, it can be remoulded into its original shape.
In most cases, the belt strap wears out earlier than the buckle. This is especially so when the buckles are of solid brass make, or are made of precious metals as in the 916 gold buckle above. Aquila Fashions will replace worn out belt straps to customers’ beloved buckles with a genuine full-grain leather belt strap.
